About Anne van Wingerden | Shiatsu practitioner and supervisor in Amsterdam Centre

My name is Anne van Wingerden. In my practice in Amsterdam Centre I offer coaching supervision for professionals who wish to reflect on their work and personal development. Alongside this, I work as a Zen shiatsu practitioner, supporting physical and emotional balance through focused pressure-point therapy (shiatsu treatment)..

In both supervision sessions and shiatsu treatments I aim to create a calm and attentive environment in which clients can slow down, gain insight, and reconnect with their own strengths. My approach is personal, respectful and grounded in genuine interest in each individual’s process.

I am an officially registered coaching supervisor and a member of the National Association for Supervision and Coaching (LVSC). This professional registration reflects my commitment to quality, ethical practice and ongoing professional development.

In addition, I am a qualified Zen shiatsu practitioner. I have completed the four-year Zen Shiatsu educational programme in Amsterdam, a programme recognised at higher professional education level. Shiatsu enables me to support clients not only through conversation and reflection, but also through direct physical awareness and relaxation.

As a shiatsu practitioner I am affiliated with the Shiatsu Association Netherlands (SVN). I am also registered with the Register of Complementary Healthcare Practitioners (RBCZ). Registration with RBCZ means that my professional practice is subject to disciplinary regulations administered by the Disciplinary Board for Complementary Healthcare (TCZ).

Furthermore, I am affiliated with SCAG, the Dutch organisation for complaints and dispute resolution within complementary healthcare. Information about the complaints procedure can be found at the bottom of this page.

The practice is located in a quiet area in Amsterdam Centre, providing a peaceful setting for both coaching supervision sessions and shiatsu treatments. Please note that the practice room is situated on the second floor and can only be reached by stairs. In specific situations and by prior arrangement, treatments may also be provided at other locations, such as at a client’s home.

Our practice is located in the centre of Amsterdam, just behind the zoo (Artis).

GETTING TO US: Parking nearby is difficult and very expensive. If possible, come on foot, by bicycle, or take tram 1 or 14 and get off at Alexanderplein or Mauritskade, respectively.
